About Your Data
DeenHabits is designed with privacy in mind. All your habit tracking data, prayer progress, and personal preferences are stored locally on your device only. We do not store any personal data on external servers.
Your account data is stored locally on your device. We do not store personal account information on external servers.
How to Delete Your Data
To delete all your DeenHabits data, follow these steps:
Option 1: Delete via App Settings
- Open the DeenHabits app
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down to Data & Privacy
- Tap Delete All Data
- Confirm the deletion
Option 2: Uninstall the App
- Long-press the DeenHabits app icon on your device
- Select Uninstall or drag to Remove
- Confirm the uninstallation
Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When you delete your data or uninstall the app, the following will be permanently removed:
- Prayer tracking history
- Habit progress and streaks
- Personal settings and preferences
- Language preferences
- Notification settings
Data Retention
Local data: Deleted immediately upon request or app uninstallation.
Analytics data: We use Google Analytics which collects anonymous, aggregated usage statistics. This data cannot be linked to individual users and is retained according to Google's data retention policies. No action is required from you as this data is not personally identifiable.
